What makes you a IPod criminal?
Dilemma
I am walking down a street full of shopping stores and decided to go to a pawnshop to browse for anything that might interest me. I walk inside and noticed that they are many IPods in the glass shelf located in the back of the store and as I am inspecting them I use my common sense and predict that these IPods have been stolen and sold to this store. I walk to the guy in the counter and ask about their condition and if he thought they have been legally sold here, and confirms that some might be stole and some were not, and laughs about it and asks me if I wanted to buy one. What Should I do?
What Should I do?
- 1. Report the stolen IPods to the authorities, this will make sure that those IPods won’t be sold illegally and be return to their rightful owner and if not, then it will be taken to a lost and found and someone claim it showing their proof that it is theirs.
- 2. Warn people that these devices are stolen and probably some other things in the store. This will help others by warning them of dangers they can receive from buying stolen items.
- 3. Avoid this store and buy an iPod of apple or other reliable places.
What I should'nt do
- 1. Buy them
- 2. Tell people that is a lot cheaper to buy there and not tell them that these IPods are stolen and become a criminal.
- 3. Steal IPods and sell them to the pawnshop.
